Today in Mathematics, we have started our new topic – Decimals. We have learnt that we can use apparatus to represent our decimals.
We learnt that we can use a one thousand block to represent one, a hundred square to represent a tenth, a ten stick to represent a hundredth and a one to represent a thousandth. We then drew these in different representations using picture and place value counters.
We will continue to use this apparatus to further understand decimals.
